A Closer Look at Kim Clement’s Prophetic Record
Introduction
What many people seem unaware of is that Kim Clement has a long history of failed prophecies and absurd claims behind him.
Several of his prophecies contain specific details, deadlines, or timelines that cannot reasonably be separated from the predictions themselves. Most, however, are so vague that, considered in isolation, they cannot meaningfully be tested—a serious problem when Scripture explicitly calls for prophetic claims to be tested. I will usually reject the vaguer statements precisely because they lack the details needed to test them. Taken together, the record suggests that Clement was saying things that occasionally “matched” later events given enough effort and time—sometimes while ignoring deadlines and timelines Clement himself had specified.
This illustrates how people sometimes alter prophecies to make them fit subsequent events.
The main reason I felt compelled to examine Kim’s “prophetic” record was the so-called Trump prophecies. When considered in their original, unedited context, these statements may not have referred to Donald Trump at all. I am not convinced Clement himself knew exactly what he was referring to at the time. He does, however, appear to have connected some of these statements to Trump later. For example, I found the following account of a visit to Trump Tower:
The Lance Wallnau Show: Kim Clement Took Me to Meet Trump at Trump Towers…
Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pLUUBsgPGk
These “connections” appear to have been made in hindsight, which undermines their credibility as prophecy. In the original recordings under discussion, Clement does not specifically say “Donald Trump”. Even if he had, other details would still need to match. For example, Clement said that corruption in the White House would be removed under this “praying president.” In my view, that has not happened; if anything, the corruption appears worse than ever.
Another striking feature of Clement’s performances is the delivery. When supposedly “prophesying”, he used dramatic background music and stilted rhetoric, boldly proclaiming “Thus says the Lord”, while the prophecies themselves quietly failed as their deadlines came and went.
With that in mind, let’s examine some of his other extraordinary claims, including one about garbage-eating insects—my personal favorite. The further we go, the more extreme and grotesque the claims become, to the point of being darkly entertaining 😄

Before we dive in…
The fact that I have concluded Kim Clement’s prophecies to be false is actually, in a way, sad, because fulfilled prophecy is something that a lot of people desire to see—myself included. The question is, what exactly would we do differently as a result? I personally cannot really think of anything I would do differently, even if the interpretations of Kim’s various ramblings turned out to have some degree of truth in them. Because Kim has a horrible track record of failed prophecies, I simply would not use his “predictions” to make any important decisions—he has been highly untrustworthy.
I will demonstrate this by carefully examining some of his previous prophecies.
The false prophet label is not useful
Was he a “false prophet”? As Christians, we need to remember, according to Jesus—all sin should be forgiven (Matthew 12:31)—I interpret that to include false prophecies by new testement standards. But that does not make the matter less serious. If people were influenced politically or spiritually by claims that were untrue, the consequences remain serious.
Matthew 12:31 — I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
If some people voted for Donald Trump because they believed these prophecies came from God, then false claims may have influenced real political decisions.
I personally do not want to speculate about whether Kim Clement should be classified as a “false prophet” according to old testament standards — we need to keep in mind, according to the old testament, false prophets are condmned. I therefore prefer to say that the prophecies themselves were false, rather than calling “the prophet” (most likely a child of God, who has made a mistake) a false prophet.
Unfairly branding people as false teachers and/or false prophets is not useful, and dismissing people outright in this way is rarely justified when the facts are examined closer.
It’s far more important to weigh what is said so we do not become deceived.
Possible copycats
It also appears that Jeremiah Johnson, Shawn Bolz, and possibly others were inspired by Kim Clement’s prophecies to make predictions of their own. Yet Sean Feucht has described Clement as an “unbelievably accurate” prophet, an assessment that overlooks the history of failed predictions examined here.
I believe that anyone who endorses someone’s gifting so confidently has an even greater obligation to examine the record of the person they are endorsing. Sean Feucht failed to do that, and he is misleading his followers into beliving Kim Clement was accurate, when in fact everything I examine here points at the opposite.
Jeremiah Johnson has since faced substantiated accusations of plagiarism. This raises a further question: did he also borrow his Trump predictions from Clement? That possibility deserves examination, although plagiarism elsewhere does not, by itself, establish the source of those particular predictions.
Shawn Bolz, seemingly drawing on Clement’s prophecies, stated that Trump “would share two terms in a row.” This suggests he may have been piggybacking the credibility of an already recognized prophetic figure like Clement and others. Bolz has since been the subject of accounts alleging fabricated prophetic words and sexual misconduct, including masturbating in front of interns. Taken together, these matters raise serious questions about his credibility.
Revival within 4 years of 2005
November 14, 2005
God spoke these words to me: He said to me that which I’m about to do in the next four years in the world, starting in this nation, as I have prophesied, will never be contained because it will continue from generation to generation. It will not be one of those revivals that will be for a short period of time, like the 1948 revival that ended some time with a bunch of religious people trying to keep it within a culture and within a time period.
Here, Kim Clement appears to prophesy a revival that would touch not only Denmark and Germany, both mentioned later in the prophecy, but also the entire world. This revival was specifically predicted to begin within four years of 2005.
This has not happened, and it is therefore a false prophecy. It is somewhat unclear whether the subsequent predictions in the same transcript, including the discovery of a new energy source, were also supposed to materialize within four years of 2005. On those specific points, however, let’s give Kim the benefit of the doubt.
But, based on the cumulative evidence, some of which I will examine throughout this article, I think we ought to consider disregarding his prophetic claims altogether.
A source of energy based on insects and garbage

A giant bug eating his food. Very funny.
November 14, 2005
There is a source of energy that’s coming out of this nation where they will not rely on the oil of the Middle East. God gave me a revelation about the “Big E”, that something’s going to come from the ground, from the bugs. There are literally billions of dollars to be made in the next few years by Christian people if they would be wise and perceptive. God is going to provide a way for you to invest and to make millions overnight. Take that as a key and a sign; it’s yours.
This is a recurring theme in Kim’s prophecies, and also one of the more fascinating due to its weirdness in being based on garbage-eating insects. Whatever one makes of the imagery, it is difficult to see how such a prediction corresponds to anything that actually materialized.
It seems highly unlikely that a major energy source, powerful enough to reshape national economics and make investors billions or millions, is ever going to arise from insects in the way described here.
Personally, I find the idea so absurd and grotesque that it becomes ridiculously funny.
In other transcripts, he also mentions “a new energy source”, although he is still vague about what it is. If you search for “Big E” on the website, a more specific description comes up, presumably where he is talking about the same thing:
September 3rd, 2005
God said, remember what I told you about the big “E”. For those that don’t know it, God said there’s a big “E” that’s being brought forth. Not petroleum—this is going to be a new source. God said they are going to have to press in to get that energy or that source to this nation. In other words, they cannot rely on the source or the natural resources. They cannot rely upon oil. There is something else; the government of the USA is about to release that, and release it it shall. It’s going to be a fantastic thing. All I know is I heard it in the secret place. This is going to force the United States of America to a point where they will not rely on the Middle East anymore. There will be a source that they will have within this nation. It shall come from the garbage, it will come from the ground, it will come from paper, it will come from bugs eating a bunch of stuff. I’m seeing a bunch of bugs eating a bunch of stuff. God said this is going to be the craziest thing.
So now the “Big E” is something that comes from garbage, paper, the ground, and bugs eating things. That is certainly vivid language, but it still does not map clearly onto any real breakthrough that created energy independence.
He goes even further:
September 3rd, 2005
When this happens, the United States shall rise above the wealth of the Middle East in terms of oil, and it shall take over, and they shall say, “Now take your oil and shove it.” This is the time for America to press in.
This is a very large claim. Not only is the United States supposed to develop this new energy source, but it is supposed to surpass the oil wealth of the Middle East through it. That simply has not happened.
At one point, even Einstein’s theories are mentioned. If this is meant to be the same energy source, then it becomes even more difficult to interpret it as something ordinary like nuclear power or fusion, because Kim specifically tied it to insects eating things. The imagery is so specific that it makes later attempts to reinterpret it difficult.
From a trillion-dollar deficit to no deficit whatsoever within a six-year period
September 17th, 2005
There is a new energy that is coming forth. The prophet knows it as the Big “E” but knows nothing else. A new form of energy is coming forth; America is pioneering it, and it shall take you from a trillion-dollar deficit to no deficit whatsoever within a six-year period, says the Spirit of God.
This raises an obvious problem. If the Kim “knows nothing else”, then how did he elsewhere appear to know that it involved bugs, garbage, and things coming from the ground?
Even setting that aside, the economic claim is extraordinary. The idea that a new energy source would erase the US budget deficit within six years does not appear remotely plausible, and in any case it did not happen. To the contrary, the deficit has only continiued to increase.
If anything, a dramatic energy breakthrough might lower energy costs broadly, but that is not the same thing as eliminating a federal budget deficit.
A company, presumably traded on a public stock exchange, will be raised up
March 3rd, 2006
The Spirit of God said, the BIG E—I told you it is not only ethanol, but God said something very unusual that was buried decades ago with Einstein shall come to pass and shall be recovered and discovered, and America shall be on the forefront. Science is being energized, accelerated because of the prophets that are prophesying.
He continues in the same transcription:
God said, go and look—there is a great discovery. There is a company that I will raise up, that I will allow you to have access to so that you may make what was supposed to be unrighteous money placed into the bosom of the righteous, My people. This is the beginning of a great prosperity upon the church, says the Lord of Hosts.
That becomes difficult to take seriously once all the pieces are laid side by side: an insect-related energy breakthrough, perhaps somehow connected with Einstein, producing vast prosperity for Christians through a company that God would raise up. None of this appears to correspond to reality.
Personally, I would rather invest in known energy sectors than wait for an insect-powered economic miracle that never arrives.
A man that controls the internet and the “marketplace”
September 10th, 2006
God said, watch the BIG E. You must listen, for the investments will bring hundreds of millions and billions into the Kingdom of God. I’m about to reveal it to My prophets…
Again with the millions and billions of dollars? It is starting to sound super comical…
September 10th, 2006
For God says, watch now, watch now, as I show you one of the men that have controlled the power of the internet and controlled the power of computers…
More specifically, but still vague:
September 10th, 2006
… I will reveal it to him. It shall be a revelation. They shall say, but how can an ungodly man, not a man of God, get so much truth? You know why? Because he’s the controller of the marketplace and he’s made billions of dollars.
Why not just put a name on the guy? Is it Mark Zuckerberg or Jeff Bezos?
Also, strictly speaking, nobody “controls the internet”, so the phrasing is imprecise from the outset. Still, if one tries to identify possible candidates from that period, Jeff Bezos seems like a more plausible fit than Mark Zuckerberg, since Facebook Marketplace did not launch until 2016.
Candidates
It is unlikely to be Mark Zuckerberg, because Kim Clement said in 2006 that the thing had already started to happen:
September 10th, 2006
Now God said that is about to be shared with My people for the wealth of the unrighteous is about to be released into the bosom of the righteous. It’s already started to happen, but it’s going to be done in a double-portion manner…
That would make Jeff Bezos a more obvious guess than Zuckerberg, since Amazon’s marketplace model was created ~2000.
But there is still a major problem. If it had already started in 2006, and Christians were supposedly already beginning to benefit from it, then Kim Clement should have known enough to make the prophecy much clearer. Otherwise it becomes difficult to tell whether this is prophecy, retrofitting, or simply vague speech that can later be attached to almost anything.
And yet, despite all of this, there is still no obvious insect-based energy revolution, no miraculous company that made Christians rich, and no fulfillment matching the scale of the claims nearly two decades later.
If Jeff Bezos had actually discovered such a transformative energy source, it is hard to explain why billionaires have continued investing in fusion and other conventional energy technologies instead.
Could it have been Elon Musk? That also seems unlikely. He was not known as the owner of an internet marketplace, and Twitter was not acquired by him until 2022. Nor is Twitter a marketplace in the sense implied here. In the 2000s, Elon Musk does not really fit the description Kim gave.
Old conspiracy theories about energy- and pharmaceutical companies
December 8th, 2006
There will coming healing too from the earth, says the Lord, for Alzheimer’s as I have told you, and discoveries that have already taken place. But because there has been corruption in the pharmaceutical regions and the political areas, they have held back some of these cures which could have taken place. Even the “Big E” says the Lord, they could have done more already, but because of power and because of corruption and because of money, God said, it has slowed it down. But the prophet has arisen and the prophets are speaking and they are not satisfied with the fact that this is going so slowly. God said, we must speed it up, so that there can be no reliance on the Middle East for your oil, no reliance on the Middle East for your energy.
This sounds very similar to familiar conspiracy theories about pharmaceutical companies suppressing cures and powerful interests suppressing alternative energy technologies. Those theories were widespread long before Kim Clement, and I think it is quite possible that he was influenced by this.
The problem is that such claims often go far beyond the evidence and can become defamatory. They also function rhetorically to explain away failed predictions: if the miracle or breakthrough does not appear, then one can always say it was being hidden by corrupt elites.
It’s just conspiratorial thinking.
There have long been claims about governments or oil companies suppressing revolutionary energy discoveries, but these claims have generally turned out either to be false, unproven, or grossly exaggerated. The same basic pattern appears here.
The closest one might get, in a very loose sense, is research into insect fat for biodiesel, but that is nowhere near what Kim Clement described, and certainly not something that made Christians millionaires overnight.
Cure for autism and alzheimers by 2007
December 8th, 2006
God wants you to be debt-free in 2007!
People were still in debt after 2007, so obviously the first claim didn’t materialize. I assume this was connected with his “Big E” prophecy, because if not, they would just be competing for fulfillment.
Then come the medical claims:
December 8th, 2006
The Spirit of God says, a very unusual matter regarding the field of medicine where they will not allow certain ideas regarding creativity, and once it happens there will be a breakthrough in the May or June of next year. But you see things, read things, do not listen to them. But I already sent out cures where some great great discovery shall take place, a neurological discovery that will bring those with certain disorders into a place of healing. Look to the autistic children. For God says, autistic children, if they survive and they come out of it, and the discovery is made, shall be the geniuses of the world, says the Spirit of God.
There shall be an expulsion of old ideas and corruption has been exposed. Therefore, 2007, arise, arise, arise oh people.
Autism is not simply reducible to a defect that needs to be “cured”; that framing itself is problematic. Second, the prediction of a near-term neurological breakthrough did not materialize in the way described. It was supposed to happen within roughly a year.
So where is the cure for autism? Where is the cure for Alzheimer’s? The deadline came and went.
December 8th, 2006
Watch your schools, watch your medical schools, watch the discoveries. And God said, 2007 shall be a year of excitement, jubilee, jubilee, jubilee, jubilee, JUBILEE!
We are ready for the Year of Jubilee! Jubilee! Jubilee! We are ready for the year of Jubilee! Jubilee!
What specifically happened? None of that which was “prophesied” I guess?
The invention of the mRNA based COVID-19 vaccines, much later, counts for something, but some Christians were erroneously misled to believe those to be the mark of the beast, probably because of the BiChip conspiracy theories. Besides, it does not really fit the given 1-year fulfillment deadline.
Aborted babies will be reincarnated within 15 years of 2005
September 3rd, 2005
… I will cause the blood of the aborted children to be quietened because I am now resurrecting them in the wombs of the Mary’s of this hour. You thought you took them out Satan, but I am bringing them back throught the womb of another one of the woman that are giving birth in the next 15 years and shall bring forth those that were stolen from the wombs of those through legalized abortions. Watch them when they arise, for they shall arise with the double portion says the Lord.
This is one of the more difficult passages to interpret in any sensible way. Taken at face value, it sounds like a form of reincarnation language, which I regard as unbiblical. Human beings do not die and then return in somebody else’s womb as the same individuals.
I suspect defenders of Kim Clement would argue that this was symbolic language. But even then, the wording is so concrete that symbolic reinterpretation becomes difficult. He specifically speaks about those taken by legalized abortions being brought back through other women giving birth within the next fifteen years.
Biblically, “giving birth” can also be symbolic, but Kim Clement kind of closed off that opportunity for interpretation when he specifically said it was “…**those through legalized abortions…”** that were supposed to be “brought back”..
That did not happen.
It also cannot comfortably be made to refer to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, because that did not happen until 2022, which is outside the stated fifteen-year window if one begins from 2005.
Secular television will cause millions to be saved within the twinkling of an eye
June 17th, 2005
There is an unusual presentation of the gospel that will come to every home in the United States of America through a secular television station that is going to be united with ABC. By the Spirit I tell you, Rupert Murdock is about to meet Christ in a very big way. The Spirit of God says, They will be watching secular television and suddenly the Spirit of God shall come upon those, this new network that is going to be raised up, and millions of people within a twinkling of an eye shall find salvation in their homes, deliverance in their homes.
This did not happen.
Not only is there no obvious fulfillment, but it becomes increasingly unlikely over time, especially given Rupert Murdoch’s age and changing media realities.
Rupert Murdoch Will donate money to Christians
November 14, 2005
God said, there’s a network that’s going to open up. This is not a Christian or a religious network, but look at Murdoch, look at Rupert Murdoch for something very unusual is going to happen like a “Damascus Road” conversion. And this is going to be so mighty and the change is going to be so strong that he will donate to churches and he will donate to men of true value in the Kingdom…
This raises another internal tension: if the “Big E” is going to make Christians rich, why is Rupert Murdoch’s donation suddenly so important?
To be fair, Murdoch has long identified as a Christian in some sense, so giving to Christian causes would not be an unimaginable act in itself. But that only makes the statement less impressive as prophecy. Even if he were to donate money to some Christian cause, that could just as easily be an ordinary event rather than anything prophetic.
More importantly, we should keep in mind the fact that Robert Murdoch and his Fox network has been responsible for spreading grotesque defamatory falsehoods doing Trump’s first term as president, including misinformation about dominion voting machines, which they ended up paying a very high price for—for a Christian to associate with him on a new network would therefore be problematic and expected to lead to more falsehoods being promoted.
Mohammed Ali Will change his mind and become a Christian
June 17th, 2005
Before Mohammed Ali goes to the grave, something that Billy Graham said to him will change his mind. God’s raising up evangelists and commissioning them as missionaries to their region.
This seemingly never occurred, and officially Muhammed Ali died a Muslim.
Mike Tyson Will become an evangelist
June 17th, 2005
Allah has no power. God said, I’m going to take Mike Tyson and raise him up as an evangelist of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Never happened..
A reincarnated JFK of Irish descent will be president by 2016
July 27th, 2007
And God said it shall come to pass that I will take a man of Irish descent again, and place him in the White House. This is years to come. But God said a John F. Kennedy that once was to be great, but God said now another as a John F. Kennedy, but with uprightness, with morality, and with great strength of leadership, and they shall say “it is JFK reincarnated.” And God said, I will laugh at your psychics, for the prophet spoke in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania long before it happened, that this shall be a sign to this Nation that what took place in the sixties and what was supposed to take place will take place in the teens of the 2000s - of 2015 and 2016.
Barack Obama did have Irish ancestry, and was president from January 20 2009 to January 20 2017, but the surrounding speech is mostly vagueries that doesn’t really fit. E.g:
Rejoice please, for God said, you shall see fires through this Nation, but holy fires…
This is just pseudo-profound nonsense that could just as easily be interpreted the other way around. In my view, if we try to fit them on Trump’s election and the flood of misinformation and disinformation plaguing many Christian communities the years after—not least QAnon—represent something unholy and demonic.
…You will see an intervention and Me going into the media, and taking the streets of this Nation. Why? God said, you have prophesied the wind and now you shall reap great, great, great rain, says the Lord.
I did not see the Lord “going into the media.” On the contrary, the spread of pro-Trump misinformation seemed to me more like the work of demonic forces. Many Christians failed to challenge it—perhaps because they believed it themselves—even as claim after claim was repeatedly debunked.
Let’s not forget Sidney Powell’s grotesque and absurd “release the Kraken”, just to highlight one of the most grotesque moments — but it seems Trump surrounded himself with raving mad conspiracy theorists such as this.
You will reap great whirlwinds and they will come. One more thing, the Spirit of God said, rejoice in this that you hear tonight, for even as you understand that the fires that I speak about will burn out dross and put in the White House a man who will then be transformed into a righteous believer.
Obama was already a professing Christian when he became president in 2009, and there is no indication he has had any “awakening” experience doing his presidency that’s widely discussed publicly. But, maybe it’s not Obama at this point — maybe we are talking about Trump now.
But Kim Clement didn’t indicate a change of subject, and Trump is not Irish.
Even if Kim is talking about Trump at this point, it just doesn’t fit well, because his entire presidency has been built on lies and misinformation, even to the point where he has occasionally expressed support for Putin, who is a murderous dictator.
But, let’s also not forget his blatant attempt to overturn the election that he lost.
God said, do not fear, for I will not allow this Nation to fall on their knees in unnecessary humility, but God said, in humbleness of mind. And I will take the fire and destroy your enemies. Your time of peace has come, but more than this, your time of prosperity has come, America, says the Spirit of the Living God!
More claims of prosperity that have not come to pass in any meaningful way—and we are now in 2026. If Kim was referring to Trump, the remaining time for fulfillment during his presidency is running out. These promises certainly were not fulfilled during Obama’s presidency either.
Bill Gates will support the Church financially, and Trump will become a trumpet
The following passages are often detached from their original context and presented as though they clearly predicted Donald Trump becoming president. I do not think that is persuasive when the context is actually considered.
April 4th, 2007
This that shall take place shall be the most unusual thing, a transfiguration, a going into the marketplace if you wish, into the news media. Where Time Magazine will have no choice but to say what I want them to say. Newsweek, what I want to say. The View, what I want to say. Trump shall become a trumpet, says the Lord! I will raise up the Trump to become a trumpet and Bill Gates to open up the gate of a financial realm for the Church, says the Spirit of the Living God!
This passage does not specifically identify Donald Trump as a future president. It uses the word “Trump”, but in a highly metaphorical and context-dependent way, while also mentioning Bill Gates opening a financial realm for the Church.
That part certainly has not happened in any clear or meaningful way as of 2026.
And when one reads the full surrounding prophecy, the timing seems to point more toward 2007–2009 than toward 2016.
April 4th, 2007
It shall come to pass that the man that I place in the highest office shall go in whispering My name. But God said, when he enters into the office he will be shouting out by the power of the Spirit for I shall fill him with My Spirit when he goes into office and there will be a praying man in the highest seat in your land. And God says, even a greater move of the Spirit shall take place and your enemies will finally be subdued by the year 2009

Kid fitting bricks into his brick sorter.
If we give Kim the benefit of the doubt, let us just say that the specific deadline he gave was for having our enemies “subdued” rather than Trump becoming president—well, that also has not happened! On a personal level, Christians still have enemies, and as a country America certainly still has enemies. It is just false no matter how you turn and twist it.
The attempt to make this fit Donald Trump becoming president requires ignoring too many of the original details, including the given timeframe.
April 4th, 2007
For the year 2009 energy will have changed drastically. This Nation will have tapped into the “Big E” four times.
Once again, the “Big E” appears, and once again the date passes without fulfillment.
Everything is greater and greatest—Trillions, billions, and millions of dollars!
One recurring feature of these prophecies is their tendency toward inflated scale. The language consistently points toward things becoming not just important, but world-changing, unprecedented, and financially enormous.
April 4th, 2007
In 1967 there was a great revolution, but God said, the revolution that you are going to experience starting in 2007 is going to be greater than anything that’s ever happened.
That is a remarkable claim. If something greater than anything that had ever happened was supposed to begin in 2007, one would expect it to be obvious in hindsight. It is not.
June 17th, 2005
…millions of people within a twinkling of an eye shall find salvation…
Just has not happened yet. I guess Rupert Murdoch better hurry up so “millions” can be saved instantly.
September 17th, 2005
…it shall take you from a trillion dollar deficit to no deficit whatsoever within a six-year period says the Spirit of God…
Bring it on!
September 10th, 2006
… You must listen. For the investments will bring hundreds of millions and billions into the Kingdom of God.
I get it. Trillions and billions coming my way. I eagerly await to see this materialize right in my bosom—just tell me which company to invest in!
November 14, 2005
God is going to provide a way for you to invest and to make millions overnight.
This promise of dramatic wealth is part of the pattern. But if it was truly prophetic, one would expect something more concrete than decades of vagueness and missed deadlines.
I love the promises of limitless wealth, but I seriously doubt insects will get me far..
Science is being energized, accelerated because of the prophets that are prophesying.
If so, why were so many timelines missed? Why is the evidence of fulfillment so thin? The simplest explanation is that God was not speaking through Kim Clement in the way he claimed.
Kim Clement spreading conspiracy theories
Where there is failed prophecy, there also often seems to be a tendency toward conspiracy thinking.
John Holdren wants to sterilize people by putting something in the water
May 22nd, 2010
… His name is John Holdren. And it’s interesting because he’s on the administration and he wrote a book called Human Ecology. (Kim: And he’s one of the close advisors?) One of the close advisors, one of the inner circle. He wrote this book and to say it’s radical thoughts is an understatement, but he writes in Human Ecology that overpopulation is a problem, so his solution is abortion—step up the abortion.
Kim: Compulsory abortion? Compulsory abortions. Can you imagine that—forced abortions? Girls, come here, we’re going to do a song.
Sunil: Also, he states we can do something with the water so that the people are sterilized; they are unable to reproduce children. Radical thoughts like that, and he’s the science czar.
Kim: He’s the idiot. He’s the buffoon that is fanning this flame…
This claim is false. It was also addressed by PolitiFact, which explained that the allegation about John Holdren proposing forced abortions and sterilants in the drinking water was misleading and based on a severe distortion of source material.
Even if it was hypothetically true, such a serious allegation should not be entertained without demanding solid evidence; if no such evidence is then provided, the member making the allegation propably ought to be asked to be silent in the congregation. Not handling this, as a leader, is simply highly irresponsible.
Yet Kim Clement repeated the claim and joined in the insults. At minimum, this shows a lack of discernment. He did not expose a falsehood here; he helped spread one.
That matters, because it shows the same broader pattern seen in the prophecies: dramatic claims, weak grounding, and serious allegations made without adequate basis.
Conclusion
When the individual prophecies are examined in their original context and compared with what actually happened, a consistent pattern emerges: specific claims were made, often with clear timelines and outcomes, and those claims were not fulfilled.
This conclusion is not based on a single example, but on the cumulative weight of many. Whether the topic is revival, energy, politics, medicine, or finance, the same issue appears repeatedly—predictions that did not materialize as described.
This is not a personal judgment against Kim Clement as a person, nor against those who believed him. Many people are drawn to prophetic claims in good faith, seeking meaning, hope, or direction. That is understandable. But sincerity does not make a prophecy true, and it does not remove the responsibility to evaluate such claims carefully. The bible clearly encourages us to evaluate what is said:
Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others weigh what is said (1 Corinthians 14:29)
For that reason, I believe it is important to assess prophetic statements by their content, their timing, and their outcomes. When that standard is applied here, the record appears unreliable.
If prophecy is to be taken seriously, then it must also be open to scrutiny. Otherwise, there is no meaningful way to distinguish between what is true and what is not, and we will just end up disobaying the word of God.
In light of this, I personally consider Kim Clement’s prophecies to be unreliable and not something that should be used as a basis for belief or decision-making. Like all of us, he was human and capable of making mistakes. The repeated pattern of unfulfilled predictions suggests that his claims should be approached with caution—certainly not carelessly shared as fact, as has sometimes been the case.
